Begin your float at Dam 3 and set out on a full-day ride that winds through 16 miles of the beautiful Spring River, ending at the Riverstop store. This extended stretch offers everything the river has to give—from lively, quick-moving, trout loaded water in the upper sections to the winding, pumping turns like the famous Dead Man's Curve, where rolling currents twist through a sharp S-bend.

As you float beyond RiverStop Landing, the river begins to open up and mellow out. Here, you'll find stretches of quiet water framed by beautiful scenery along with a few falls, including the (High Falls) before reaching your final Take-out at Riverstop. With the option of taking out at Riverstop landing (depending on circumstances) as you will pass by on your float. 

12 Mile (6-8 hours) (No Raft)

This float kicks off at Dam 3 and wraps up at RiverStop Landing. The initial five-mile stretch treats you to some scenic views along the most energetic current on the route. Along the way, you'll pass through the central portion of the river, which features a thrilling section known as Dead Man's Curve—a swift, snaking S-bend. contrast, there are calmer segments where the water slows and some effort with the paddle is needed to keep moving forward.

Begin your float at Dam 3. 

You'll float through cold, trout-filled waters in the upper stretches—ideal for casting a line or just soaking in the refreshing currents. The route winds through a mix of riffles and calm pools, with the occasional splashy rapid to keep things interesting.

Whether you're here for the fishing, the floating, or just a day unplugged in nature, the 5 mile float gives you a perfect slice of everything the Spring River has to offer before ending your float at the (Cedar Valley Take-out). Also known as (Saddler Falls). 

5 Mile (3-5 hours)

Launch from Riverstop Landing and enjoy a laid-back 5-mile float that winds through some of the more scenic and peaceful stretches of the river with some great fishing opportunities.

Along the way, you'll pass through water, with tree-lined banks, popular rope swings along with falls dotting the route, including the notable High Falls, which adds a fun splash of excitement. 

Whether you're looking for a relaxed afternoon on the water or a shorter float that still gives you a taste of the Spring River, this section delivers. End your day right back at the Riverstop store.
